JOB DESCRIPTION FOR EXPORT/IMPORT PERSONNEL

          To ensure the preparation of import and export documents.  

          To handle and finalize all shipping, insurance, and customs operations.

          Tracking products at customs,

          Managing correspondence with suppliers,

          Tracking international payments,

          To conduct banking operations in coordination with the accounting and finance departments.

         To carry out the procedures for opening and reviewing letters of credit.

          Tracking customers' current accounts and contracts.

          To ensure that orders are shipped on time and in full.

          To keep records and file all foreign trade transactions.

         To carry out activities to develop the existing customer portfolio.

          To monitor and evaluate customer satisfaction,

          Monitoring the performance of sales channels and playing a role in planning sales-boosting activities.

          To create and submit weekly and monthly reports covering import and export activities and processes to management.

          Monitoring and organizing domestic and international trade fairs.

          Taking an active role in researching new foreign markets.

CAREER INFORMATION

To become an import-export specialist, one must graduate from a university or vocational school with a degree in Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Economics, Logistics, or a related field.
